Common Ground is about emphasizing what we have in common more so than emphasizing what we don't -- to unite instead of divide.
When we break it down to the core, all of us in the human family are brothers and sisters, and we are each part of a vast universe of creation, aside from our varying interpretations of what and who the source of that creation is. That is our "common ground."
Creativity is a key part of the Common Ground experience because it is a reflection of our seeking to know more about human to human relationships and human to spirit relationships.
Common Ground programs flow with the themes of Togetherness, Adventure, Struggle, Awareness and Joy, transitioning from one to the other in an effort to enhance realization of the spiritual journey and the ultimate goal of connection with all of creation.
It is our hope that this creative experience might strengthen people of all faiths and backgrounds to better be of service to the God they love, as well as to their brothers and sisters in the human family.
Perhaps this is a tall order, but we believe it's something worth striving for and exploring, and this is the ideal that Common Ground seeks to realize and impart.
